Organic farming - gaining energy from headwind

Bus und LKW im HochwasserPellworm wouldn’t exist without its dykes. The reason is that our wadden sea island lies up to 1 m  below sea level. The North Sea would flood the polders like a soup plate with each tide.  The reason why this didn’t happen over the last 400 years is not only the result of consistent coastal protection. The main reason is that so many islanders hold on to their island despite genuine threat and disadvantages.  Another reason is that they are critical of new ideas and keep a close eye on them to begin with.
